The Auction Needs YOUR HELP!
To Reach for the Stars we need every Anderson family on board! Ways to Help:
- Procure Auction Items and Share Sponsor Leads. Just do it! Ask friends, family, your fav businesses for support. We need awesome donations to power this auction! Helpful links:
- Help Procure Donations in Kind to support the event (e.g. alcohol, wine & beer, desserts, Printing Services Photobooth, DJ, Flowers) Got any leads? Email auctionchair@andersonpta.org
- Volunteer With Us! Interested in helping? Email auctionchair@andersonpta.org
- Volunteer roles: party & decor, night of operations, tech platform
- Open lead roles:
- Sponsorships:(Urgent) calls/outreach to last year’s sponsors for renewals, approach new prospects, define donor levels.
- Food and beverage: Coordinate w/ chairs and caterer, help source/organize donated alcohol, desserts. We already have some drinks to start!
- Decorations: Are you artistic and crafty or wish you were? Join auction chairs and 2 other leaders to lead planning & execution.
- Communications: Coordinate with Chairs/Leads to send weekly updates to the community, promote items available for auction, build excitement.
- Live program: Collaborate with chairs on the live auction, program, paddle raise.
- Day of Volunteers: Assist with check-in, check-out, day of operations, and paddle raise.

I’M AN ANDERSON PARENT, WHAT CAN I DO?
 VOLUNTEER! It takes the entire community to make this event successful. There are many ways to get involved. Please contact auctionchair@andersonpta.org
READ YOUR EMAILS and pay attention to the weekly newsletter from the PTA. The Auction Team will update you regularly on the latest news and important information about the event, ticket sales, donation requests, contests and competitions, as well as anything else related to the big night.
SOLICIT DONATIONS. Reach out for support to anyone and everyone in your network – be creative and confident, your ask is for an important cause! Here are some ideas for resources:
- Businesses you frequent; local and international
- After-school programs & Recreational facilities
- Retail stores & Shops
- Spas & Health facilities
- Restaurants, Bars & Cafes
- Media and Entertainment contacts (for tickets and behind-the-scenes tours)
- Friends & Family with interesting jobs and connections (for experiences & internships)
- Hotels & contacts with Vacation Homes & Timeshares
- Unused and unexpired Gift Certificates

The event will feature silent and live auctions, available online and in person, with hundreds of exciting prizes, curated experiences and outstanding offers!
