Open “Details” to see what a role involves. Most roles sign up through a form; a few ask you to email the team directly.
The Anderson Halloween Spooktacular runs from 2:45 to 5:30 PM on Friday, October 30 in the Anderson yard, and it takes a lot of hands. Shifts cover setting up and decorating the yard, check-in and ticket sales, the baked goods table, food and drinks, the games, cotton candy, popcorn and hot chocolate stations, tattoos and face painting, arts and crafts, the prize table, merchandise sales, and clearing up afterwards. There are also morning prep shifts in the week beforehand.
Pick whichever slot suits you — most run an hour and a half to three hours.
This signup is for adults. Anderson Middle School student volunteers are organised separately.
The bake sale table is one of the Spooktacular's biggest earners, and it runs entirely on donations from families. Bake something, buy something, or bring drinks — all of it sells on Friday, October 30.
Drop-off times: Wednesday October 28 and Thursday October 29, 8:30 to 10 AM in the school lobby; Friday October 30, 8:30 to 10 AM in the lobby, or 10 AM to 1 PM in the PTA room. You can also bring items to the yard between 3 and 5 PM, though earlier is a big help while the table is being set up.
The form asks what you are bringing, roughly how much, whether it is individually wrapped, and which common allergens it contains.
